Putin Statements on PM Modi
This is not the first time that Putin showed praise on Pm Modi. Russia and India has been very much close as a lot of defence equipments come from Russia and recently India bought S-400 missile defence system that is considered best defence system. The S-400 air defence system was contracted for by India in a deal worth around Rs 35,000 crore and five squadrons would be provided to India for tacking air threats from up to 400 km.
Now, we come to what Putin has said about PM Modi, : “A Lot has been done under leadership of PM Modi. He is a patriot of his country. His idea of ‘Make in India’ matters both economic wise and in ethics. Future belongs to India, it can be proud of the fact that it’s largest democracy in the world.” He even lauded Independent foreign policy and recalls India development as a tremendous one , from being british colony to modern state with 1.5 billion people invoke admiration for India.
